Duplex Insulated Thermocouple Wires

For easier use of thermocouples, Ninomiya Electric Wire sheathes thermocouple component wires and provides them as lightweight, flexible, easy-to-use duplex insulated thermocouple wires. If a closed circuit consisting of two different wires made of different materials has differing temperatures at the joints at both ends, then the Seebeck effect generates a thermal electromotive force in the circuit, causing a current to flow through it. A thermocouple refers to a combination of two different wires (thermocouple component wires) with one end electrically connected for the purpose of generating the said thermal electromotive force. Thermocouple component wires provide the long parts from which thermocouples are made; they are cut to desired lengths and electrically connected at one end. The duplex insulated thermocouple wire refers to thermocouple component wires sheathed with vinyl, silicone rubber, a fluorine resin, glass yarn, silica fiber, ceramic fiber, or a similar insulating material.

Thermocouple Extension Wires

Thermocouple Extension Wire is lead wire to connect the instrumentation from Thermocouple Sensor. Ninomiya can produce a variety of Extension Wires that you requested. Different types of cables are used for different types of thermocouples; their components, identification (color coding), compensation temperatures (connecting-point temperatures) at the point of contact with thermocouples, wire specification tolerances, and other requirements are defined by JIS. In response to your requests, Ninomiya Electric Wire Co., Ltd., produces and provides a variety of precise, high-quality extension and compensating cables for thermocouples. In addition to the general characteristics of our products, our special cables, building on the features of our other products, can be used under severe conditions such as high temperatures and are well accepted in many areas. You can choose a variety of insulating materials such as PVC, Glass Braid, SR, Fluorine resin, and others. Extension Wire is one of most main products since Ninomiya started. Heat-resistant Insulated Wires

Having started with glass insulated heat-resistant wire (GB product) that uses glass yarn as the insulating material, the most common heat-resistance insulating material, Ninomiya Electric Wire now provides heat-resistant wires based on a variety of heat-resistant insulating materials such as silicone rubber, fluorine resins, polyimide, mica, and silica-glass, which are well accepted in many areas. The recent significant improvements in science and technology have created diversified requirements for heat-resistant insulated wire, such as use at unprecedentedly ultrahigh temperatures; chemical resistance; excellent insulating performance; resistance to weather, aging, and radiation; high mechanical strength; and flexibility. Through persistent effort and development and research activities, we are aggressively responding to these requirements as a vendor specializing in heat-resistant wire by, for example, using ceramic fibers as new insulating materials. In addition to these wires, we are gradually expanding the product lineup of UL-approved heat-resistant wires.


Thin-Film Surface Thermocouple(K / T)

Ideal for measuring surface temperatures of objects in various experiments and product tests! Thin-Film Surface thermocouple has some great characteristics. 1 More accurate and stable temperature measurement. 2. Stress-free and prompt thermal responsiveness. Minimal outgases are generated 3. A hot junction with a wide contact area 4. It is available for high temperature (300℃). 5. It is available for measuring temperature easily and quickly. It is able to connect bare terminal, Twintor (connecter of Ninomiya) and Y terminal to Surface thermocouple. The hot junction is one terminal of a duplex insulated thermocouple wire which is an optimal length for use. Therefore, there is no need to prepare another lead wire.


TWINTOR (Thermocouple Connector)

The thermocouple connectors, "TWINTOR," are our original products, and there are no other products like these in Japan. The "TWINTOR" connectors adopt JIS Standard colors. Users can use a thermocouple, connector, and extension and compensating cable for thermocouples in the same color; this means that the "TWINTOR" connectors are super heat-resistant connectors that help to prevent problems such as wrong wiring and that ensure safe use by all users. We, as a manufacturer dedicated to supplying extension and compensating cables for thermocouples and duplex insulated thermocouple wire, utilizing our knowledge and technology of measuring thermoelectric temperature that we have accumulated over years, have developed the above thermocouple connectors to facilitate the easy use of thermocouples. PEEK Duplex Thermocouple Wires

We provide flat duplex insulated thermocouple wire consisting of a pair of conductors individually PEEK-resin insulated, and then PEEK-resin sheathed.
